Azma Bokhar accuses political opponents of fearing development

Lahore – Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari has accused political opponents of fearing the ongoing development projects in the province, attributing the progress to the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.
Addressing a press conference in Lahore, Bokhari highlighted the transformative projects being introduced by the provincial government under Nawaz’s leadership. She emphasized that these initiatives are not only receiving appreciation from the people of Punjab but are also being praised across the country, particularly by citizens in other provinces.
“The projects introduced by Maryam Nawaz in Punjab are nothing short of revolutionary,” said Bokhari. “These initiatives are being recognized beyond Punjab, with people from other provinces also expressing admiration.”
The minister continued to defend the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government, asserting that the party is dedicated to serving the public through its policies and actions. In contrast, she accused the political opposition of contributing to instability and chaos rather than focusing on constructive development.
“While we are focused on serving the people and ensuring the progress of Punjab, our opponents are only spreading anarchy and confusion,” Bokhari stated.
Her comments come as the PML-N continues to implement a range of infrastructure, healthcare, and education projects aimed at improving the lives of Punjab’s residents. The success and impact of these programs are likely to remain key points of discussion in the province’s political landscape.
